Lonnie Whitfield laid his first floor in 2012, in his mother-in-law's kitchen in Moore, largely to stop hearing about it. It came out straight. Word travelled the way it does in a neighbourhood, and one weekend favour turned into a two-truck crew inside three years.
We still work the way he did that first weekend. Pull the old floor. Check the subfloor with a meter and a six-foot straightedge. Fix what's wrong before anything goes down. Nearly every failed floor we get called out to repair on somebody else's work skipped that middle step.

Dust-contained sanding down to raw wood, then stain and three coats. Far cheaper than replacing a floor that's still perfectly good under a tired finish.
Uncoupling membrane, back-buttered, lippage controlled with clips. Big tile is unforgiving, which is exactly why it's worth paying somebody to do it.
Self-leveler, moisture testing and squeak repair. A flat, dry subfloor is the whole job. Everything laid on top of it is decoration.
Stair treads, risers, custom nosings and clean transitions at every doorway. These are the details people actually stand and look at.
